Me and the bard.

Getting quite excited about my new goal of finishing Shakespeare this year. I want to put up the quotes I liked up at the end of each play; I'm not done with Two Gentlemen of Verona yet but here's to jumping the gun:

Proteus: Thou, Julia, thou hast metamorphosed me, made me neglect my studies, lose my time, war with good counsel, set the world at naught; made wit with musing weak, heart sick with thought.

Lucetta: I have no other but a woman's reason: I think him so because I think him so.

Lucetta: Fire that's closest kept burns most of all.

Julia: But truer stars did govern Proteus' birth. His words are bonds, his oaths are oracles, his love sincere, his thoughts immaculate, his tears pure messengers sent from his heart, his heart as far from fraud as heaven from earth.

Valentine: What light is light, if Silvia be not seen? What joy is joy, if Silvia be not by -

I'm a fan of the mushy stuff :) A good year to reflect on love when it's all around with none to be had.
